Jean's Pizza Cafe: A Delicious Slice of Howard City

My husband and I absolutely LOVE this place!! We usually go on Thursday when they have music in the street, or sometimes inside the cafe. We love the wet burrito special and are so stuffed and satisfied when we leave there. Jean is such a pleasure to talk to and I love how she interacted with her customers. Lori and Bernadette are always smiling and very attentive to our needs. They even remember my little extras like Hot Sauce I highly recommend giving them a try and check out music on Thursdays!

Yesterday my car broke down on 131 in Grand Rapids we got towed to Howard city. We saw this little pizza cafe and sat waiting for my husband. Ordered my kids a pepperoni pizza. The sauce on this pizza was phenomenal the pizza dough was tasty the pizza was on point. Than I saw a crab ragoon pizza and with my love for crab ragoon I could not pass up the opportunity to try. Ordered it to go and I’ll tell you what that pizza is so good so different so worth a try. I loved it. Very nice pizza cafe and very impressed with their products. The prices were good too. We paid 31 for two pizzas and 2 pops. I will stop here again even though it’s an hour from home definitely worth it.

Wow! Is all we can say. We happened to be in the area and Google helped us find thos place. How lucky are we?? First off, service was spectacular and so friendly. Food was fresh, tasted amazing and the restaurant was more then clean and adorably decorated! We recently moved to cedar springs area and went out that way on an errand and discovered this place and we WILL be back. Best cheese breadsticks i have ever had. Also try the pesto pizza, my husband and I split it and it was delicious. Lots of parking available in front and in back of building, my daughter is 10 and so picky on food and she ate a ton! I was impressed all around with this place and I told all my friends about it. Great up the good work!! Also side note, if u get breadsticks, order the Dill dip as your dip for them. Oo my goodness, I was skeptical at first but wow!! Aplus!!

Took a chance with the family as we like to explore and find great food. The loaded breadsticks with the pepperoni and the pizza and then the grilled subs were fantastic and I have the toughest kid critics! We returned 3 days later and the consistency in service and food was excellent. A hidden gem in Howard City. Again try the loaded breadsticks a meal in itself! If I was to offer a suggestion it would be a beer and wine license and you would double your business easily.

Located downtown in the small village of Howard City, the Pizza Cafe has been a mainstay on Edgerton Street for 31 years and the owner, Jean, has been there every step of the way. Great pizza--lots of variety (meat lovers, veggie, traditional favorites, unique offerings, etc.); dinner options; sub sandwiches; salads; and everything is served with a smile. Dine in or carry out--it's all good!

Great pizza. Cool ambiance and great service. 9 inch pepperoni and sausage pizza! 12.30 Nice local downtown business.

Excellent food, atmosphere, New Smores's cupcakes are awesome. Hosted a chamber networking event on April 14th that was a great turnout!

Always a great spot for a tasty meal! The pizza is fresh, the toppings are generous, and the crust is just right. Friendly service and a welcoming atmosphere keep me coming back.
